Azambo – Data Deletion Request Policy
At Azambo, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal information. If you wish to delete your account or request the removal of your data, this policy explains how you can do so.
1. Right to Request Deletion
As a user of Azambo (customer or service provider), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data, including:
• Your account details (name, email, phone number).
• Profile information and documents uploaded.
• Transaction history and communications.
Please note: Certain information may need to be retained for legal, tax, or security purposes (for example, payment records required by Mexican law).
๐น 2. How to Submit a Data Deletion Request
You can request data deletion by:
1. In-App Settings → Go to Profile > Privacy > Delete My Account.
2. Email Request → Send an email to: [email protected] with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include:
• Full name
• Registered phone number/email
• Reason for deletion (optional)
3. Verification
To protect your account, we may ask you to:
• Confirm your identity via registered email or phone.
• Provide additional details if necessary.
4. Timeline
• We will acknowledge your request within 7 business days.
• Your account and personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to keep.
5. Data We May Retain
Even after deletion, we may retain certain records for:
• Legal compliance (tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations).
• Fraud prevention and security investigations.
• Dispute resolution (if there are ongoing claims).
